[edit] IFT History
[edit] InvisionFree days
IFT started as a IPB and IF resource board offering skins and other forum resources as well as graphics and the like. According to the administration, sometime after Battle Of the Boards, eventually it was time to move from an InvisionFree board to Invision Power Board (a.k.a IPB), hosted on a separate website. Apparently there was a joke between some of the admins and it went in what some say was too far, ending in the creation of the site iftomatoes.com
[edit] IFT moves to its own domain
At iftomatoes.com, a wide variety of skins and graphics were offered as well as a few programs. The creation of Annex presumably marked the beginning of The Development Age Of IFT. Slowly, less skins were being produced and more hype over Sog's products caused the deletion of the skins/graphics database. Meanwhile, IFT acquired a new layout and an actual web page (besides the forums).
[edit] IFT Today
After IFT deleted the database, less guests came to the boards and forum activity decreased. The only services left were Trellis Desk support and administrator blogs were never updated (as of February 2007). Some see this change as growth for IFT while others do not care for it.
[edit] Criticism
Some members (notably Jelly-Bean and the less radical Halfelf) criticize the deletion of the database, as in his opinion, the database was more than just skins, it symbolized years of hard work. However, not much of the matter has been discussed.
